If you are into the Muddy Waters style of slide guitar, you must check out Paul Oscher. He lived in Muddy's house while he played harp in the band and he came away with the precise touch and angle of the slide to get Muddy's tone.

Twist,
I had heard some stuff a few years ago when I was @ Cotton's house, and it was some rehersals from the early days, when Tucker was with Cotton, and Cotton said that Tucker rarely played Slide on gigs, but was one of the best he had heard.

Don't be put off by the 90s Fleetwood Mac connection either - he's an excellent and inventive slide player with a wonderful, wide vibrato, who has made some excellent albums in his own right.
